In this seminar, three winemakers will share their wines to showcase Pinot Noir as a reflection of three important growing regions: Burgundy, California and Oregon. Winemaking choices notwithstanding, there are significant differences in the taste profiles, textures and structures of the wines. Alex Sokol-Blosser, Winemaker and Co-President of Sokol Blosser Winery, Brian Loring of Loring Wine Company in California, and Alex Gambal of Maison Alex Gambal in Burgundy will be presenting their wines and discussing how each reflects the individual vineyard/appellation/region, their desired style of wine and how they achieve it in the vineyard/cellar. The overall goal is to leave the seminar attendees with clear taste profiles of the 3 different regions.
