Description

“Politics Do Belong at the Dinner Table”

Once declared off limits as polite dinner discussion, politics, and more specifically, the politics of food, now more than ever deserve to be debated at any and all gatherings around a table. What are the pros and cons of GMOs? How do small farmers and purveyors survive in the world of farm conglomeration? How does food really get to your store shelves and your table? What role do chefs and restaurants play in planning the future of food. What do we need to focus on in order to meet the hunger and nutrition challenges of the world? We’ll discuss these topics and more with some of the industry’s most vocal and insightful minds.

Moderator: Sarah Gray Miller, EIC, Modern Farmer

Panelists:
Richard Martin, Vice President of Editorial, Zero Point Zero Production
Michel Nischan, Founder & CEO, Wholesome Wave
Andrew Zimmern, Chef and TV personality/Food Works Inc.
