Leslie Gallego Graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 2001, majoring in Culinary Arts and Hotel Business Management.

Her passion for everything sweet has taken her culinary career to focus on desserts.

Since the age of 14, Leslie has been learning to cook, bake and decorate cakes with her grandmother. At 18 years old, she started Tempting Desserts, creating one of a kind cakes and desserts for her elite customers.

Working at Indian Creek Country Club and as a private Chef to some of the wealthiest in Miami Beach, she continued to grow in the hospitality world.

After working in several upscale hotels in Miami Beach, FL. Leslie and Husband, Mario Gallego, decided to take their pastries to the streets and the masses, opening Marlie's Delights Dessert Truck in 2012.

Leslie's desserts vary from the very classical to the most whimsical. You can find her treats at Marlie's Delights or order a one of a kind custom cakes for special occasions.

Leslie's ultimate goal is to open a bakery where dessert possibilities are endless and sugar is Queen.
