Throughout a career spanning 30 years, Geoffrey Zakarian has made his mark as a chef restaurateur known for his sophisticated taste and signature style. As owner of renowned restaurants, The Lambs Club and The National, both in the heart of midtown Manhattan, as well as The National in Greenwich, Connecticut, Zakarian combines his love of hospitality with his 35 years of culinary experience in these three unique restaurants. He also oversees the food and beverage program at The Water Club at Borgata in Atlantic City.
In June 2016, Zakarian debuted two new concepts at Montage Beverly Hills. Both already hot spots for the hollywood set, Georgie is a lush indoor/ outdoor restaurant with Mediterranean inspired menus, whereas The Garden Bar offers the ideal destination for handcrafted cocktails and light fare. This winter, Zakarian will open Point Royal, a fun Coastal American restaurant and bar, and its fast-casual extension, Counter Point, at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida.
Outside of his work as a chef, Zakarian is also an accomplished author and notable television personality. In 2006, Clarkson Potter published his debut book, Geoffrey Zakarian’s Town/Country, and his second cookbook, My Perfect Pantry, hit shelves in October 2014. Most recently, Zakarian launched Pro For Home, a food storage container system, on the Home Shopping Network. In addition to his status as a longtime favorite judge on Food Network’s Chopped and as an Iron Chef, Zakarian is a co-host on Food Network’s daytime series, The Kitchen, and hosts the new primetime series, Cooks vs. Cons.
Additionally, Zakarian serves as Chairman of the City Harvest Food Council, an organization committed to fighting hunger in New York City.
