Ayesha Curry is a Canadian born, Charlotte, NC raised wife and mom currently living in the San Francisco bay area. As a busy mom to her two daughters, Riley and Ryan, and wife to NBA superstar Stephen Curry, Ayesha is always on the go and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Her passion for her family, and sharing their stories, inspired her to create her lifestyle blog and YouTube channel, Little Lights of Mine, a collection of all the things that bring light into her life. On the blog, Ayesha talks about a host of topics that have helped her on her journey to live a balanced life, but the focal point is her love of food and the recipes that have brought joy to her family and loved ones throughout the years. Now only a few years since it’s inception, Little Lights of Mine has become a sensation, garnering viewership in the millions, and accumulating a vast, loyal community of followers.
Ayesha has appeared as a judge on hit Food Network show’s such as Chopped Junior and Guy’s Grocery Games, and in the fall of 2016 will premiere her own Food Network show, Ayesha’s Homemade. She is also a regular contributor and frequent guest on the Rachael Ray Show and Good Morning America, and has been featured as a go-to lifestyle expert in top lifestyle print and online publications including Food and Wine, ELLE, Vogue, Forbes, Time, InStyle, People, Vanity Fair, USA Today, Essence, POPSUGAR, Refinery29, Elite Daily and Sunset Magazine.
In 2014, Ayesha partnered with San Francisco based apron company LUNDY WAY to create her own signature line of aprons and launched her own line of extra virgin olive oil, sourced locally in the San Francisco bay area and made with 100% local, estate-grown, Arbequina olives. The Olive Oil, along with a companion signature balsamic vinegar, is available for purchase online and at specialty food stores in Northern California, with a portion of all proceeds donated to No Kid Hungry, an organization working to end childhood hunger in America.
Ayesha’s first cookbook, The Seasoned Life, published by Little, Brown and Company will be available on September 20, 2016. The cookbook will contain over 100 of Ayesha’s favorite recipes, with highlights such as Cast Iron Biscuits, Smoked Salmon Scramble, Homemade Granola and Stephen’s 5 Ingredient Pasta.
Also set to release in the fall of 2016 is GATHER, a premium subscription meal kit company created by Ayesha featuring exclusive recipes perfect for preparing delicious meals for family or friends. GATHER will be available nationwide, and be customizable for any family type providing options to add-on meals for picky kids as well as baby purees.
