The critically acclaimed and James Beard Award-winning Mediterranean maestro Michael Solomonov may have built his kingdom in the city of brotherly love, but he’s bringing his talents South to both the Music City in Nashville and the Magic City here in Miami, with one of his first outposts of the wildly popular Federal Donuts coming soon to Wynwood. In addition to being the executive chef/co-owner at one of America’s favorite restaurants, Zahav, in Philadelphia, Solomonov is partner in Federal Donuts, Dizengoff, Abe Fisher and the forthcoming Rooster Soup Company – also in Philadelphia – as well as Dizengoff NYC inside Chelsea Market. Solomonov joins Sam Sifton, food editor for The New York Times’, to discuss ABC-theme information/topic and provide a personal look at his career.
