Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Approximately 1,200 volunteers help make the Festival happen each year, and assist with raising more than $2 million annually for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. Volunteers get the unique opportunity to get hands-on industry training and share an invaluable experience with the rest of their peers. Volunteer Roles vary from event to event but fall under four main categories:
Volunteers in these roles will work alongside event managers and production teams and is responsible for assisting with management of other volunteers as well as logistics, set-up, break-down, guest experience and overall flow of event. This position requires prior Festival experience.
- FRONT OF HOUSE (FOH)
Volunteers in these roles will assist with roles such as guest registration, talent ambassadors, survey team, auction associates and general event support.
- BACK OF HOUSE (BOH)
Volunteers in these roles will assist with roles such as logistics, set-up, break-down, inventory and golf cart drivers.
Volunteers in these roles will assist with baking and pastry as well as providing culinary support to chefs including plating and serving.
